The museum relies very heavily on our volunteers for all aspects of museum operation, and without them we would not be able to function. Our members and volunteers are the ones who have made the museum what it is and built it from nothing. We are extremely proud of our volunteers and are always encouraging others to join our museum family whether it’s for an hour, an afternoon or a day a week. Your contribution helps and makes us a better museum.

Our three biggest needs for volunteers are at our Pioneer Museum Tea House, guides during special events, and repair and restoration, but we also have many other opportunities for which volunteers are welcome and needed.

Our current volunteer help needs are:

Tour Guides

Grounds and Building Maintenance

Artifact research
Town and county history research

Archiving and Cataloguing:
Cleaning artifacts
Cataloguing artifacts
Data entry

Creating Exhibits and Displays

Restoration Shop:
Farm machinery restoration
